The second license plate prefix to be issued in British Columbia was the short-lived "T" for Trucks, which was used only for the 1924 registration year (the first prefix being the "D" for Dealer plates in 1911).

It was subsequently reported in late 1924 that "there will be no separate truck licencses next year [1925], nor special registration plates such as were used this year, as the task of keeping separate accounts for these has been found too complicated to justify the extra expense involved."
